does blood related really matters....

To certain people, the answer is NO… where to certain people is YES… Human being is a very complicated creature. To certain degree of people, it doesn’t mean anything regardless it is blood related or not, their reaction is being ignorant and defiant on what happened to the people around them.

On the other hand, some people will give a hand to others regardless it is blood related or not as long as a person needs help. These people are the one who care, love, bonds, and regard family values very high and important.

It is cruel to realize that even if you are blood related, it is not necessary for a man to care about a person in the family member. Despite saying when the person is not your family member. These cases do revolve around us in reality where a man does not even bother or care on ones even though it is his closest family member. You might consider this group of people is being described as non-filial-piety category. The ones who help will be outsiders whom have the heart of philanthropist.

When a family member is walking through a death bed session, how could a human being become so ignorant and nasty especially when it is your closest family member? It is very cruel to encounter this experience. In which, I despise those people who don’t even know how to respect. In fact, I should say I pity them.

I personally believe, a man will receive retribution on what he did as life revolves around the circle. The same thing of what you have done, your next generation will learn and will do the same thing back to you. As Chinese says,” You will taste the chili is hot when you eat it”. Nevertheless, the worst is you are indirectly teaching the next generation what to do when similar problem applies. Your next gen will accept as it is a right thing to do.

Till today, I still don't understand how someone could be so mean to the person who has the closest relation/bond with you, who brought you up, and worries about you on 24/7 as nobody's biz. Parents who protect and defend on you no matters what happened. Most importantly, the ones who will never ever give you up and abandon you even the whole world does and always forgive you. Once you grow up, you practically forgot about this, especially when you get married.

As Chinese, ones do value priority of family especially when majority are descendants of Confucian beliefs. Ones are obliged to take care of your parents. Even though one was not, this is just a common sense for each of us to do so since our parents are the ones who brought us to the world, without them, we could not have what we achieved today.

The most despicable is if they are parents yourself. Don’t they ever think of what if their kids apply the same practice to them? Won’t they feel hurt?

I would say all parents in the families do believe their kids will never do wrong deeds and abandon the families. Should I say this is a wrong belief? Maybe 'living in a denial' will best describe.

In my point of view, it is already a common sense for us to give a hand to those who need; when it comes to your family whom has a blood related to you, it is more you should do so. To me, when an elderly is alive, you don’t even bother to care or pamper them as what they used to do to you. But, only to take action once they died and to show that you are filial children. Those are all useless; it is like acting a show.

My advice is to cherish what revolves around you now. Life is not predicted, you might not be able to do what you want in the next step. Live at fullness with no regret in future when you flashback.

Conclusively, I would say that blood related does matter, as the Chinese says, “To acknowledge the source of the water you drink”.

updates...

I haven't been blogging for quite some time, coz of laziness ckckck... since i'm waiting for my turn to so i better do sth about wat happening recently....

Tonite, we had a department dinner (each of us are entitled to $90 budget per year), a session where we're supposed to team bonding where it always ended up in food in our department practice. We finally decided to go to The Line @ Shangrila. Thursday is a special promo nite comes with free flow of drinks at $88/person. The total bill was $12xx+ and we got 32% disc due to staff reward cards (yes, it's our client) and final cost is $84x+ so it's quite a good deal and worth.

I should say The Line is worth every single cent with the standard and quality of the food. The seafood bar itself already more worthed than anything. The number of times i visited, it has never failed to satisfy my stomach ckckck.... They serve the best passion fruit sorbet where you can taste real passion fruit in every single bit.

I have been eating out quite a lot, the rally started since last Friday where we were out for mussels dinner on Friday @ Brussel Sprouts

followed up with walking to Liang Court for Starbucks (some pics).

Then on Saturday, we attended Summer fairytale's wedding @ The Regent. I should say that i'm quite impressed with the wedding where the couple actually compose their own song and even when for recording and sing it live. The song is pretty good and soothing. The couple is a perfect match where they drink, party, sing, and etc together. Best wishes for Summer and Xavier. Have fun in Sweden....

Last nite as i left office quite early, so my parents and I went for dinner @ Imperial Treasure Nanbei. Initially, our objective is to order something different from our regular order, however we ended up eating the same dishes. We did try the beef mushroom. It's yummy, the beef was so soft.

By the way, the latest movies i watch recently is Dark Knight which i watch a sneak on Wed 16th Jul. The movie is quite good and Christopher Nolan shot windy city till very nice (reflected the gotham city quite well) with the small alley. i give ****/5

I was offered a chance to catch gala premier of The Cliff but i skipped it due to the late nite opening and not strategic location - Vivo. :(

Well, recently i won 52 tickets from Cineleisure from the lucky draw i participated and share it with my colleagues. So i am starting to pick which movie i should watch now for the remaining tix...

On Air 온에어

Yes, it is the hottest topics every K-drama fans whom had or hadn't even watched been talking about. Yeah, I know SG is a bit slow on this.... very laid back.... they will only talk about it when the news is already frozen in other part of the world.... Thus I have watched the show thru online stream before it's available here. The DVD store dunn even have a single clue on what it is..... They associated it with Air City instead.....

The On Air is sort of acronym of The One Sided Love Affair....
Unlike other typical K drama, this show has a refreshing topic and exciting casts with caliber. It is also not as draggy and do have less flashback scene.

Beginning of stories it kind of rekindled the relationship around the main 4 casts which kind of complex indeed it's very simple. Sort of misunderstanding and jealous w/ each other. Stories are predictable along the way.....

I like Kim Ha Neul performance as Oh Seung Ah in the show, she was great in her acting and her haughty look and arrogant yet lonely character charms viewers' heart...... In ep 6, you won't expect that Oh Seung Ah as an arrogant and cool celebrity would be a terrible singer and she sang off key and act crazy in K-session.... it's just hillarious.....

My fave scene are all Kim Ha Neul's appearance on the scene and her relationship w/ Jang Ki Joon. It is just fantastic to watch both of them whom loving each other yet hold to express their feelings towards each other....

Another must not miss scenes are the scene b/w Oh Seung Ah and scriptwrite Seo Yoon Ah. Their arguing conversation are just thrilling to watch.....

If you watch the show, you might consider the OST where 4 of the main casts also contributed a song in the disc. such a great marketing idea in making money... split the album into two instead of just release one with the hype of the show going through...

SATC....

With the poster, needless to mention my topic..... Thanks to JCDecaux for holding a sneak preview for us tonite.

The show was brilliant and gorgeous. It is just great to see all of them together again in a big screen this time round. The 148min runtime is like 90min and I couldn't get over with it.

It envies me on how great their established friendship - BFF..... The gal's talk in the show revolved in our life and was fascinated through emotions of happy, upset, angry with laughts, hugs, tears,....
Combination of a funny yet a touched ones...

My eyes were stunned by the showcase of bags, manolos, and the updated fashion. They are gorgeous and dazzlingly nice...... The wedding dress by Vivienne Westwood is beautiful and elegant, especially the shoots for Vogue. One more thing, i bet no women in the world would ever reject the closet Mr. Big designed for her...... ckckck... I am excited and overwhelmed that I couldn't wait till the very next day to blog on this.....

My all time fave character aside to Carrie is Charlotte. She is very cute especially during their trip in Mexico and her fuming to Mr. Big. ^.^

I agreed with most of the bloggers on the product placement and sponsorship in the show. I believe every brand is paying a high price to be in there and bet all the branded stuffs are voluntarily and happily present their items for the movie.... ckckck....

If you are the fan, definitely not to miss it.

overall: ****/5stars
humor sense: *****

Jacky Cheung's World Tour

I missed the first concert which was back in September'07.

Again, I had never planned to attend this concert indeed for his second visit on Jan 06th, it was last minute tickets offer that i got to attend. Thanks to my colleague Ange for offering the ticket so that i get to watch with my mom.

The concert is great, he is one the singer that paying to watch Live is worthed.

At his age, i admired his passion in singing and dancing for 3 1/2 hours, the concert did not end till 11:30pm. I should say he did better job in dancing compared to his past concerts even though a lot of us still found his dancing is can not make it. ckckck..... Of course, this include when he was singing fast tracks as well. Well, he did put a lot of efforts.

Indeed, the chapter i like the most is the musical opera when he combined both Perhaps Love and Snow Wolf Lake.

My regret was to miss the Snow Wolf Lake performance.

His voice is just tremendous that can hold him for 100th concerts.

Thumbs Up to Jacky!

Trick or treats ?!?

Well, Halloween is a total reverse of Chinese Ghost Festival where you are encouraged to limited excursion means to stay home. As all the ghosts are wandering around on the streets.

Halloween in SG is purely on clubbing and another drinking session. If you are not a clubbers nor fond of drinking, basically it is just another regular day. Despite the idea of Halloween in the states where aside to party, we practice trick or treats ?!?! visit to haunted house and carving pumpkins... ^.^

Yeah, Halloween Day is my birthday .... so my gangs always said that i'm a ghost ckckck.....

The week before the birthday was welcomed with visiting of my college buddies, Lili and Sherry. We had a great weekend gathering after our graduation back in 2003. Finally, i'm able to forego all the disputes happened among us. We rekindled our friendship and cherish more as we get older, quality time is what we are pursuing. I was also happy for Sherry on her engagement news and her health is actually getting better. The day before their departure, 30th Oct, we were having lunch at Palm Beach for Chilli Crab and dinner at Peach garden

My department mates celebrated with a treat of lunch @ Billy Bombers w/ Lychee Martini cake.
For dinner, I celebrated w/ my college buddies Mon and Nad @ Shimbashi Soba.

On Friday, my foodie gangs celebrated it @ La Forketta @ Dempsey

The dinner is part of our Friday outings in exploring new places, however the restaurant is below our expectations. The food presentation is nice. The appetizer is good but the main dishes is only okay. The restaurant ambience is quite nice. If craving for Italian, i still prefer Pasta Brava where is brings the authentic flavor. I rated ***/5 stars.

Indeed it's still another great outing we enjoyed!

Happy Halloween and wish for more pumpkins next year. ^.^ I'll aim for pumpkin soup and cake next year ckckck....

Sammi's Mi 2k7 concert

After such a long awaited, finally her concert happened last nite. Overall it's a fabulous show with her distinctive style ^.^

Good that she spoke in Cantonese which she clearly mentioned that her English and Mandarin are intolerable, thus the only choice left is Cantonese. She sang mixes of Canto and Mandarin pop.

The gift giving where she teased her fans was hilarious.

Despite not feeling well, she still dance and sing well. If she did not mention it, we wouldn't realize it. She sang lesser songs compared to HK concert and forego Mi and no encore...... :(

After all, well done, two thumbs up. Good to see you back.
