Tae-chan's visit 2

Today, i got off early to meet Tae-chan at Chinatown and brought her along to explore. Even though it's a short stay, she did enjoy it. She mention how nice sgans are. She said compared to TW and Korea, it's quite different. She said when she went to Korea, people are so rude and nasty and the hospitality was quite bad. She could sense that they hate Japanese.

We're supposed to eat chicken rice at Boon Tong Kee but at the end there wasn't enough time, so we ended up having dinner at the street market in Chinatown. Afterwards, we went to eat durians.

According to her it's the highlight of the trip. She lovedddddd it. She said she had heard a lot of negative reviews and opinions from the others that it's so stinky so she would like to try it. I'm so glad that she loved it coz not a lot of people love to eat durian some can't even endure the smell. If she dislike it, i have to end up gobble durian by my own coz Mon is having a sore throat.

But i guess for Japanese, if they can eat nato, they can eat durian as well. ckckck.....

Well, during our gathering on sunday, we discussed that most of the times, people tend to dislike durian due to its stinky smell. Well in fact it did smell stinky when you're not eating it. Generally, 90% will like durian once they tasted it, the smell just turn good heheheeh.....

We did discuss why people still dislike durian after they tasted it, it was due to the durian they ate was not good enough. How to consider good? in my point of view, it really caters to your own taste. Myself prefer indonesian durians over Thailand ones.

We managed to catch up a bit and afterwards, i accompany back to hotel before she headed to airport.

Since the ticket from NRT-SIN is only about $300 via SIA, so we ask her to visit more often and the next time she could stay at my place instead of hotel.

She has promised she will come again next year. So see ya next year...
