earthquake

Not sure is this is part of global warming reactions from earth, recently there seems to be more and more natural disaster happened around the world. The earth day concert didn't seem to help as the clean up turned out to be disaster.

Recently IDN has been hit by a few rounds of earthquake, which might be part of volcano eruptions? It has impacted SG as we could felt the tremor here. It's the second time since the beginning of the year. it is a bit weird that you experience 2 earthquakes in sg within 9 months.

Located slightly above the equator line in tropical country, sg does not get to experience a lot of natural disaster until recently. I've always wondered with such a small island if there is natural disaster, will the country last?

The last earthquake was on last wednesday which was part of impact from West Sumatra earthquake that it was actually affected to India, Pakistan, etc. Well, there was no major injured or serious case in SG. Compared to the previous one, this time we did evacuate from our office building.

I still remembered the first earthquake in the beginning of the year, our building management asked us to remain in our office until further notice. how scary would that be? Others had already evacuated from the building ckckck.....

Well indeed, on wednesday at first i thought i was having headache or it's just another normal vibrations we felt occasionally from our cubicle. but the trembling was getting faster and we started to check with each other and decided it's an earthquake. Most have left the office in our department so a few of us started to pack to head home. a good excuse to get off early ^^.

When we went out, actually everybody was going home or evacuating the building. Despite using the stairs, we still took lift, isn't that amazing of how daring we are. With our lazy character, we decide 30th floor is too much hehehee...... The better part is we still took subway to go home heheehe....

The next day, i felt it again sligthly before 8am when i got off from my shower, it lasted for more than a minute and the trembled was quite fast.

According to paper, we could actually sense more in central which is my home and office located at CBDs.

Luckily, there wasn't any major injured this time compare to the previous earthquakes in our region.
